Western PA Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for June 2013
provided Unit Franchise Owners with the opportunity to add value to their
already stellar services.
In
attendance were Special Guest Speakers David Lehmann
and Jeff Tishko.
Mr. Lehmann
is the Regional Sales Manager of VonDrehle Corporation,
a world-class towel and tissue manufacturer which provides quality commercial
paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue products, and dispensers. Mr. Tishko
is the Vice President of Sales at The Colker
Company,
a supplier committed to providing environmentally-friendly cleaning solutions
and products to meet all of today’s cleaning needs.
After
a brief introduction by Anago of
Western PA
President David
Ross, David Lehmann
discussed the importance of understanding a client’s paper needs in an effort to
provide well-rounded service. He shared the many product offerings of the
VonDrehle Corporation
and how they can benefit Anago of
Western PA
Franchise Owners and their clients.
Jeff Tishko
discussed opportunities through The Colker
Company
for Franchise Owners to provide added value and additional services to their
clients. From proper methods for cleaning stainless steel, to odor control, to
deep cleaning urinals, Mr. Tishko’s ideas
were well-received by the many franchise owners in attendance.

industry can be very cut-throat, and our Franchise Owners are on the front
lines,”
stated Anago of
Western PA
Vice President Bill Ross.
“Arming
them with the knowledge of how to identify additional services and added-value
opportunities can keep us one step ahead of our competition.”
The
June 2013 Franchise Owner’s Meeting was held at the Anago of

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA SUPPORTS LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT
ANAGO OF WESTERN PA SUPPORTS LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT
Over 200 residents from the Bedford Hill Apartments Complex in the lower Hill District of Pittsburgh attended the fair. Residents were greeted with a variety of family-friendly events, free food and beverages, and numerous vendors and information tables.
Attendees were invited to meet with representatives from over 25 local companies. Representatives provided information about jobs, business opportunities, training courses, and more. Additionally, a health screening booth offered preventative health tests. At 1:00 PM, Anago of Western PA President David Ross and Anago of Western PA Unit Franchise Owner Sha’Ron Jackson gave a presentation to a group about the benefits of purchasing a franchise. Mr. Ross and Mr. Jackson discussed what it’s like being in business for yourself.
“The Franchise Business Model can deliver a viable opportunity to people – they just need to know that it’s out there,” according to Mr. Ross. “Today we let people know that they can own their own business and that it comes with our full support. Anago of Western PA gives back to the community on a regular basis, not only through its charitable donations, but by participating in events like the Bedford Hill Community Day Job and Health Care, providing free community job training programs, and offering cleaning services for the United Way Day of Caring.

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA FRANCHISE OWNERS RECEIVE ANNUAL HEALTHCARE CERTIFICATION
For their added convenience, Franchise Owners were given the option of attending either the Saturday, April 27th meeting or the Monday, April 29th meeting. Franchise Owners’ employees were also encouraged to attend.
The course was conducted by Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross, who has extensive theoretical and practical experience in the specifics of cleaning in healthcare environments. The following topics were covered at this year’s course:

Mr. Ross considered the event a huge success. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout for this year’s healthcare certification,” he stated after Monday’s meeting. “Our goal at Anago of Western PA is to help to protect our Franchise Owners, their employees, our clients, as well as our clients’ employees and guests. Judging by the participation in both Saturday’s and today’s events, I can see that our Franchise Owners have the same goals.”
Both the Saturday and Monday meetings were held from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). Anago of Western PA provided a complimentary lunch at the conclusion of each meeting.
