FROM A STREET CORNER TO BUSINESS OWNERSHIP: One Anago Franchisee’s Path to Success

Pompano Beach, Florida, USA - April 22, 2011 - To Shelly Hernandez, it seems like a lifetime ago that she was standing on a street corner in Tulsa, Oklahoma holding a pizza-shaped sign for a local restaurant. Through cold winters and hot summers, the dream of controlling her own destiny kept her going.

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA FRANCHISE OWNERS TO RECEIVE ANNUAL HEALTHCARE CERTIFICATION

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – April 13, 2011 – The April 2011 Anago of Western PA Franchise Owner’s Meeting has been scheduled, and is the only mandatory meeting of the year. Every April, Anago Franchisees are brought it together at the Anago of Western PA regional support office for the Anago of Western PA Healthcare Certification program.

Topics covered during this two hour presentation include, Understanding and Following Exposure Control Plans, Bloodborne Pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment, OSHA Compliance, HIPPA regulations, MSDS Sheets, Hepatitis B Vaccine Program, Disinfecting vs. Sanitizing (including dwell times) and much more. New this year some focus will be paid to, ‘Asthma & Cleaning Chemicals’ and ‘Dealing with Gloves When You Have a Latex Allergy.’

“The purpose of the annual April healthcare meeting,” according to Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross, “is to not only to refresh our existing franchise owners’ understanding of these sensitive technical topics, but also to bring our new franchise owners up to date, and also to give all franchise owners the tools they need to properly train their employees in all matters relating to housekeeping’s role in Healthcare.”

The meeting will be held on Saturday April 16, 2011 from 11:00am to 1:00pm and again on Monday April 18, 2011 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). Any Franchise Owner who currently services or wishes to service any Medical Facilities is required to attend one of the two meetings. A pizza lunch will be provided following the meetings, compliments ofAnago of Western PA.
