 Anago of Western PA Franchisees Delve Into The Affordable Care Act

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – February 25, 2013 – The Anago of Western PA Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for February 2013 tried to bring some light to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, also known as The Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare.

Today’s speakers included Rick Pearson, of Risk Management Associates in Houston, PA.  Mr. Pearson address the ACA is great detail including provided information on what we know, as well as identifying key areas of the Act that have yet to be clearly defined.  Most importantly he discussed the impact and potential impact that the ACA could have on small business, like an Anago Unit Franchise.

The day’s second presenter was Kara Gray from Aspire Benefits.  Ms. Gray brought new information on the different insurance coverages and benefits available to Anago Unit Franchise Owners.  From Major Medical to Accident Plans to Cancer Coverage to Vision and Dental, Aspire Benefits has put together a program for Anago Unit Franchise owners that can cover as much or as little as they might need.

“Today’s Franchise Owner’s Meeting was a great one-two punch,” according to Vice President of Anago of Western PA Bill Ross, “Part One presented all of the pertinent information regarding upcoming insurance requirements for business owners and Part Two presented our Franchise Owners with some options that are available to them to meet any requirements that might be forthcoming.”

The meeting was held on February 25, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). A lunch, courtesy ofAnago of Western PA, was provided following the meeting.
