ANAGO OF WESTERN PA SUPPORTS LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – June 4, 2012 – On June 2, 2012, Anago of Western PA was proud to participate in the 2012 Bedford Hill Community Day Job and Health Fair for the third straight year.

A combination of great weather, over 25 information tables and vendors, and plenty of family-friendly events, 2012 Fair brought over 200 residents from the Bedford Hill Apartments Complex in the lower Hill District of Pittsburgh, and surrounding areas.

Attendees were offered free food and beverages, and could meet with representatives from over 25 various companies providing information on jobs, business opportunities, training courses and more.  There was also a mobile health screening center performing free bone-density tests, blood sugar and cholesterol screening and other preventative health tests.  At 2pm, Anago of Western PA President David Ross and Anago of Western PA Unit Franchise Owner Sha’Ron Jackson gave a presentation to a group about making the life decision between being an employee and starting your own business along with the pros and cons of each.

“Some people think that owning a business is the same as being an employee with the only difference being that you are the boss,” according to Mr. Ross. “Our objective today was the educate people about some of the additional benefits of business ownership, along with some of the risks.  The crowd was excited to interact with Sha’Ron and hear his success story as a young successful business owner.” [CLICK HERE to view Sha’Ron Jackson’s story.]

Anago of Western PA gives back to the community on a regular basis, not only through charitable donations, but through participating in events like the Bedford Hill Community Day Job and Health Care, free community job training programs, and has also provided cleaning services for the United Way Day of Caring.
