ANAGO OF WESTERN PA ANNOUNCES 2013 YEAR-END AWARDS CELEBRATION

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – December 6, 2013 – Anago of Western PA is pleased to announce that the 2013 Year-End Awards Celebration has been scheduled.

The Year-End Awards Celebration will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013, from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. atThe Cornerstone at Tonidale (7011 Steubenville Pike, Oakdale, PA 15071). The awards to be given out at this year’s celebration are: “One Year, No Complaints”, “Greatest Contribution to the Anago System”, “Anago of Western PA Top Business Developer”, “Anago of Western PA Top Grossing Franchise”, “Anago of Western PA Outstanding Citizen”, and “Anago of Western PA Franchisee of the Year.”

A very special guest will be attending this year’s event. Anago of Western PA is proud to present formerPittsburgh Steeler and two-time Super Bowl Champion, 2013 Byron “Whizzer” White NFL Man of the Year Award Winner, Pittsburgh native and current sports personality for KDKA-TV, Charlie Batch. Mr. Batch will speak on “Expect Your Best: Leadership Lessons to Win.”

“We are extremely excited that Mr. Batch will be speaking at this year’s Year-End Awards Celebration,” says Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross.  “Charlie’s message is one that everyone can learn from. With such a powerful message coming from someone who consistently backs up his message with such strong actions as Mr. Batch does, I believe everyone is in for a real treat.”

This event is open to each Anago of Western PA Franchise Owner and one guest. Tickets are required for this event. To secure tickets, Franchise Owners are asked to either call the main office at (412) 257-3060 or email 2013awards@anagowpa.com. Franchise Owners must request tickets no later than Thursday, December 12th, and tickets will be sent via U.S. Mail.

Lunch will be provided as part of the celebration courtesy of Anago of Western PA. Anago of Western PA requests that all Unit Franchise Owners attend. Attendees are asked to note that time will be allotted at the conclusion of the event for photos, but please, no autographs.

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA FRANCHISE OWNERS COMPLIANT WITH NEW OSHA CHANGES

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – October 22, 2013 – The Anago of Western PA Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for October 2013 brought Franchise Owners up to date with new OSHA requirementsregarding MSDS sheets and chemical labeling.

Guest Speaker Paul Bertenthal, President of D.H. Bertenthal and Sons Cleaning and Maintenance Supplies, presented the day’s meeting in conjunction with Toby Dietzel, a Regional Sales Manager for Pro-Link Janitorial Supplies.

OSHA has mandated that all employers train their employees regarding the upcoming change from MSDS sheets to Universal SDS sheets, as well as changes in chemical labeling and universal pictograms, by December 1, 2013. Mr. Bertenthal and Mr. Dietzel discussed how these changes would impact Franchise Owners’ businesses and provided the information that Franchise Owners would need in order to become compliant.

“We brought in these experts and held this meeting today so that our Franchisees had the knowledge and skills required to train their employees in these matters prior to OSHA’s deadline,” stated Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross. “We want all of our Franchisees operating their businesses both safely and in full compliance with Government regulations.”

A special drawing was also held during this month’s meeting. One lucky Franchise Owner won a pair of Pitt Football tickets to the Panthers’ November 16th home game at Heinz Field!

The meeting was held on October 21, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). A lunch, courtesy of Anago of Western PA, was provided at the conclusion of the meeting.

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA ANNOUNCES OCTOBER FRANCHISE OWNER’S MEETING

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – October 16, 2013 – Anago of Western PA is happy to announce that the next monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting is scheduled for next week. This meeting’s topic is how new OSHA requirements will affect Franchise Owner’s businesses.

The October Franchise Owner’s Meeting will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). Paul Bertenthal, President of D.H. Bertenthal and Sons Cleaning and Maintenance Supplies, will discuss how Franchise Owners can keep their franchise compliant with upcoming mandatory OSHA changes regarding MSDS sheets and chemical labels.

OSHA Compliance states that by December 1, 2013 employers must have trained their workers on changes to chemical labeling requirements and understanding the new Safety Data Sheet Format,” according to Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross We want to ensure that our Franchise Owners are given the knowledge and tools that they need to train their workers properly under the new OSHA standard.

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA FRANCHISE OWNERS RECEIVE FIRST AID AND CPR CERTIFICATION

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – September 19, 2013 – It was standing room only in the offices of Anago of Western PA during the Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for September 2013. This month’s meeting offered franchisees the opportunity to learn important live-saving skills. As an added bonus, attendees received their first aid and CPR certification.

Anago of Western PA invited special guest Denis Valentine, Director of SouthBridge Emergency Medical Services (EMS), to lead the meeting. SouthBridge is a local EMS service for the South Fayette Township and Bridgeville Areas. Mr. Valentine conducted a Heartsaver® First Aid course. Heartsaver® First Aid is a course that teaches the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until EMS arrives. In addition, Mr. Valentine demonstrated how to perform CPR, and all owners in attendance received both their first aid and CPR certification at the conclusion of the meeting.

“I could not have been more pleased with today’s turnout,” stated Vice President of Anago of Western PA Bill Ross. “It was great to see how much interest our Franchise Owners had in learning these important life-saving skills. Because so many franchisees work late at night in empty office buildings, knowing these first aid and CPR techniques could be a matter of life or death.”

The meeting was held on September 16, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). A lunch, courtesy of Anago of Western PA, was provided following the meeting.
