ANAGO OF WESTERN PA FRANCHISE OWNERS RECEIVE FIRST AID AND CPR CERTIFICATION

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – September 19, 2013 – It was standing room only in the offices of Anago of Western PA during the Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for September 2013. This month’s meeting offered franchisees the opportunity to learn important live-saving skills. As an added bonus, attendees received their first aid and CPR certification.

Anago of Western PA invited special guest Denis Valentine, Director of SouthBridge Emergency Medical Services (EMS), to lead the meeting. SouthBridge is a local EMS service for the South Fayette Township and Bridgeville Areas. Mr. Valentine conducted a Heartsaver® First Aid course. Heartsaver® First Aid is a course that teaches the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until EMS arrives. In addition, Mr. Valentine demonstrated how to perform CPR, and all owners in attendance received both their first aid and CPR certification at the conclusion of the meeting.

“I could not have been more pleased with today’s turnout,” stated Vice President of Anago of Western PA Bill Ross. “It was great to see how much interest our Franchise Owners had in learning these important life-saving skills. Because so many franchisees work late at night in empty office buildings, knowing these first aid and CPR techniques could be a matter of life or death.”

The meeting was held on September 16, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). A lunch, courtesy of Anago of Western PA, was provided following the meeting.

Anago of Western PA Announces September Franchise Owner's Meeting

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – August 19, 2013 – Anago of Western PA is pleased to announce that the next monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting is now on the 2013 calendar.

The September Franchise Owner’s Meeting will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017). Special guest Denis Valentine, Director of SouthBridge EMS, will be present to offer First Aid Certification for all attendees. SouthBridge is a local EMS service for the South Fayette Township and Bridgeville Areas. Anago of Western PA will be paying SouthBridge EMS for any Franchisee who chooses to attend to receive their First Aid Certification.

“The safety of our Franchisees is extremely important to us,” says Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross.  “While working at night, in empty office buildings, a Franchisee armed with a fundamental knowledge of First Aid could be a matter of life or death.”

ANAGO OF WESTERN PA SUPPORTS LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – June 13, 2013 – On June 8, 2013, Anago of Western PA was proud to participate in the 2013 Bedford Hill Community Day Job and Health Fair for the fourth straight year.

Over 200 residents from the Bedford Hill Apartments Complex in the lower Hill District of Pittsburgh attended the fair. Residents were greeted with a variety of family-friendly events, free food and beverages, and numerous vendors and information tables. 

Attendees were invited to meet with representatives from over 25 local companies. Representatives provided information about jobs, business opportunities, training courses, and more.  Additionally, a health screening booth offered preventative health tests.  At 1:00 PM, Anago of Western PA President David Ross and Anago of Western PA Unit Franchise Owner Sha’Ron Jackson gave a presentation to a group about the benefits of purchasing a franchise. Mr. Ross and Mr. Jackson discussed what it’s like being in business for yourself.

“The Franchise Business Model can deliver a viable opportunity to people – they just need to know that it’s out there,” according to Mr. Ross. “Today we let people know that they can own their own business and that it comes with our full support.  The crowd was excited to interact with Sha’Ron and hear his success story as a young successful business owner.” [CLICK HERE to view Sha’Ron Jackson’s story.]

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA – June 6, 2013 – The Anago of Western PA Monthly Franchise Owner’s Meeting for April 2013 provided Anago of Western PA Unit Franchise Owners with the opportunity to refresh their annual Healthcare Cleaning Compliance Certification.

For their added convenience, Franchise Owners were given the option of attending either the Saturday, April 27^th meeting or the Monday, April 29^th meeting.  Franchise Owners’ employees were also encouraged to attend.

The course was conducted by Anago of Western PA Vice President Bill Ross, who has extensive theoretical and practical experience in the specifics of cleaning in healthcare environments.  The following topics were covered at this year’s course:

Mr. Ross considered the event a huge success. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout for this year’s healthcare certification,” he stated after Monday’s meeting. “Our goal at Anago of Western PA is to help to protect our Franchise Owners, their employees, our clients, as well as our clients’ employees and guests. Judging by the participation in both Saturday’s and today’s events, I can see that our Franchise Owners have the same goals.”

Both the Saturday and Monday meetings were held from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Anago of Western PA Regional Support Office (300 Old Pond Road, Suite 202, Pittsburgh, PA 15017).  Anago of Western PA provided a complimentary lunch at the conclusion of each meeting.
